Mission Statement for the WMS Media Center

 

 

 

The staff at WMS Media Center respects the needs and concerns of our students and teachers. We welcome the opportunity to promote an interest in reading and learning, and to provide access to resources that encourage curiosity, imagination, and creativity.

 

We continue to work with our students to help them become independent lifelong learners by providing:

 

• resources that are current and available
• assistance by the staff to all students in 
  • locating print and non-print resources
  • using the OPAC terminal
  • using research labs

 

• instructional classes in our Technology Labs
  • Microsoft Office (Word Processing, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • MS Publisher
  • Inspiration
  • Internet

 

We encourage our students and staff to accept the concept of lifelong learning and to use the resources of the library to become effective users of information.
