Course Description: This course covers the history of the United States from the Post-Reconstruction era through the modern era and provides an overview of the diverse peoples who influenced the history of the nation and it's maturing economic, social, and political institutions. The course requires students to analyze a variety of primary source materials, to think critically, and write thesis-based essays. Successful completion of United States History II is a graduation requirement.
Supplementary Reading: Students will engage with a variety of primary source and secondary source readings in each unit of study.
