The District Curriculum Accommodation Plan (DCAP) contains resources teachers and related service providers can use when they are presented with a student who is not meeting with success. These resources include a discovery tool, a list of instructional best practices to try, a means for collecting data, and a process for getting help from each school's SST/RTI team. Using the DCAP, staff adjusts their practice to meet the needs of each learner and gathers data along the way about student progress. This data helps teachers to personalize instruction and make research-based decisions about next steps in teaching and learning.
