Jr/Sr. High School Morning Announcements Wednesday, April 25, 2018
 
1. SAVE THE DATE, Mr. Westport is Saturday, April 28th at 7pm! Don’t forget to purchase your tickets! Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria on Wednesday (4/25) and Thursday (4/26) this week!

2. Any student interested in being a volunteer or stage hand for Mr. Westport, please see Mrs. Viveiros in the Athletic Office.

3. Reminder to AP Physics students, there is a Saturday session this Saturday at New Bedford High School. Please arrive between 7:45 and 8:00 am.

4. Applications are available at the main office for students interested in participating in the New Bedford Festival Theater Summer Academy. Students will work side by side with theater professionals in all areas of theatrical production for this summer's performance of West Side Story. Students must be at least 14 years of age by July 1, 2018 and must be entering Grade 9 or higher in the 2018-2019 academic year.

5. Prom Tickets now on sale at all lunches. The cost per ticket is $75. Permission slips and payment must be turned in at the same time. All checks should be made payable to Town of Westport. Ticket sales will conclude on Friday, April 27. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Honohan.

6. As part of a community based project, our very own 8th grade student, Donovan Melo, will be collecting clothes for the organization called “Cradles to Crayons.” There will be a bin displayed in the Student Communication Office near the media center. Students are encouraged to drop off new or gently used clothes. Sizes can range from newborn to adult medium. Thank you for your help and support.

7. WJSHS yearbooks will be $40. They are reserved by the order of payment, which can be cash or check made out to the Town of Westport. All payments should be turned in to the Athletics & Activities Office. Thank you!

8. There will be a College and Financial Planning Night for current juniors at 6:00 on Thursday in the Media Center.

9. There will be NO HOMEWORK CLUB this Thursday, April 26th.

I LOVE Someone with Autism: buy a puzzle piece for a dollar and put your name on it. Puzzle pieces will be displayed near the office.
Puzzle Pieces- fundraiser to purchase pins, magnets, and picture frames that are made from recycled puzzle pieces.
