We are in uncharted territory right now within our community, in the state, across the country and throughout the world. The COVID-19 virus has presented a new and novel challenge for communities, particularly for schools as we try to plan for continued learning opportunities for our students during state mandated closures. This page is intended to provide you with up-to-date information regarding the coronavirus and the impact on the Westport Community Schools. Updates will be made frequently to this site as we continue to learn more about the impact and receive guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Education (DESE), the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) and other local, state and federal agencies. Please be sure to check back daily for any new information. We will also send out notification to families when updates are made.
Beginning Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the district will begin a new, more structured format for remote learning. Please see the document below entitled "Remote Learning Plan" for more information about the plan and how Westport students will be engaging with learning moving forward.
Thank you again for all of your patience and support! We are in this together! We are the Westport COMMUNITY Schools!
