The Westport Community Schools recognizes the importance of providing a learning environment for our students, staff and families that is both emotionally and physically safe. We meet regularly with local safety officials to identify areas for continued improvement in our safety practices and to establish a timeline for implementing changes. In addition, we will be establishing school safety committees at each of our buildings which will include representation from students, staff, administration, and families.
We will continue to update the community, as appropriate and without revealing confidential procedures, periodically through this page and during school committee meetings.
