Hello!

As Principal of the Alice A. Macomber School, I am honored to welcome both returning and new families to the 2026–2027 school year.

Having served this district for over 25 years, primarily in Early Childhood Education, I know just how special these foundational years are. Early childhood is a time of incredible curiosity, discovery, and growth. Being a part of your child’s very first steps in their educational journey is a responsibility I cherish, and I am committed to making it a positive, memorable experience for your whole family.

At Macomber, our students come first in everything we do. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating an inclusive environment that challenges students academically while supporting their social and emotional growth. We are also incredibly fortunate to have a strong PTO and community partners who help us offer engaging opportunities for our students and families.

A child’s first teacher is their family, and that experience is so important. As students begin their time at the Macomber School, we appreciate the trust placed in us every day and look forward to working with each family to make this year rewarding for every student. When families, staff, and community members work together, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
