Message from our Principal
Dear Westport Elementary School Families,

It is with a deep sense of gratitude and excitement that I write to you today as your new Principal. Stepping into this role is a profound honor, and I want to sincerely thank you for the warm welcome and unwavering support you have shown me during this transition.
Westport is more than just a school district to me; it is my home and my community. My dedication to the students of Westport has been a driving force in my life since 2008. Over the years, I have had the privilege of watching your children grow, learn, and succeed, and those experiences have only strengthened my commitment to providing them with the very best educational environment possible.
The students and staff here mean the world to me. Our educators are some of the most talented and passionate professionals I have ever known, and our students inspire me daily with their curiosity and resilience. As we look toward the future, my goal is to build upon our strong foundation while moving Westport Elementary forward. I am deeply committed to fostering a culture of excellence where every student is empowered with the resources and support necessary to reach their full potential. By prioritizing social-emotional learning, I aim to nurture the whole child, ensuring they develop the resilience and empathy needed to thrive alongside their academic achievements. By strengthening the bridge between home and school, I aim to enhance our communication and ensure we are dedicated partners in every child’s educational journey. Together, we will embrace innovation in learning, implementing forward-thinking strategies that prepare students for a rapidly changing world while staying firmly rooted in the heart of our community traditions.
I am eager to continue this journey with all of you. Thank you for trusting me with the leadership of this incredible school. Together, we will ensure that Westport Elementary remains a place where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to shine.
Please know that my door is always open. I welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback.
Warmly,
Westport Elementary School Principal
