Left to right:  Jenna Moniz-Bristol Community College, Aidan Viveiros-University of New England, Cameron Horta-Merrimcack College, Luke Parker-Rivier University, Joesph Turenne-Stonehill College, Daniel Swain-University of Miami, and Liam Strangis, although his sweatshirt says Merrimack College he will be attending school in California. Brooklyn Barboza will be attending Hawai’i Pacific University in the fall!!

Principal's Message

Welcome, Wildcats!

The purpose of this website is to provide parents, students, and our school community with information about Westport Junior Senior High School’s programs, activities, and policies. As we recently implemented a new website service, we ask for your patience as we work on updating this information as quickly as possible.

WJSHS’s mission is “to provide a safe, cooperative learning environment where all students take pride in learning skills, developing talents, and gaining knowledge which prepares individuals to reach their full potential and to become productive members of society.” To accomplish this, I persuade students to become active participants in our academic curricula and extracurricular activities.  Additionally, I invite students and parents to recommend academic courses and extracurricular activities offerings that are not currently observed in Westport to ensure that WJSHS continually evolves to provide the most comprehensive learning experience possible.

As we venture through a school year permeated by the COVID pandemic, I encourage students and parents to contact the building administrative team for ongoing guidance and support. Please find the contact information for the building administrative team members below:
